For every piece of equipment in the lab, the Automation team is responsible for creating electrical schematics, functional documentation, and software integration.  assisting the research community with the construction and integration of their equipment within the facility, with an emphasis on machine and human safety.

Your primary responsibilities at work will be
Rockwell ControlLogix plc bulk programming involves applying the same code to numerous plcs.
Using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to add relevant code and panels to our HMI
If there is time:
Configuring a logging system with TimescaleDB and OPC-UA
Putting code and a screen in place to display the logged data in our HMI using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and HighCharts
Examine using the recorded data to preventive maintenance or machine learning.
To transmit alarm messages from our HMI, look for opensource notification services that enable Javascript.
Move our Rockwell AssetCentre PLC code repository to GitLab.
The following credentials are necessary to succeed in this position:
Adhering to a university's curriculum
technological curiosity, computer proficiency, and high school level.
Proficiency in advanced programming languages:
These are regarded as virtues.
Proficiency in PLC programming
Knowledge of time series databases and Javascript
Knowledge of GIT
