Together we make the difference:
With more than 160 years of experience, Siemens Mobility, an independently run business inside Siemens AG, is a market leader in the mobility industry. Rail vehicles, turnkey systems, rail automation and electrification solutions, and related services make up our core business. We have always been quite creative in our efforts to make travels more comfortable, safe, and quick. We now face new problems that require fresh approaches, like climate change and population growth worldwide. That is our motivation. We are constantly one step ahead and are passionate about influencing mobility because of this. By digitalizing infrastructures, we can make them intelligent and generate prospects for smooth, sustainable transportation from point A to point B. Our 39,800 workers are trailblazers in the field of mobility, keeping the globe on the move.
What do you contribute?
You will help us shape the digital transformation in the international network of plants in our Rolling Stock business unit. This also includes the integration of the latest technologies from the fields of augmented reality (AR) and artificial intelligence (AI). You will define and implement innovative, digital solutions for production-related processes, with a particular focus on the areas of quality, logistics, lean management and production planning. Together with your colleagues, you will further develop our existing quality, logistics and manufacturing processes towards end-to-end smart digital process chains, in particular you will be involved in the introduction of our CAQ software Opcenter Quality and Warehouse Management (SAP EWM). To this end, you will use agile development methods, low-code platforms (e.g. Mendix or MS Power Apps) and BI tools (e.g. QlikSense, Power BI) for evaluating and analyzing data. You will ensure the standardized implementation of digital solutions across plants in the plant network, working together with cross-plant teams of experts.
What do you bring to the table?
You have successfully completed a technical bachelor's degree and are enthusiastic about digital transformation. You have several years of professional experience in digitalization in the field of production-related processes, quality management, logistics, lean management or production planning. You also have extensive knowledge of the processes involved in production or production-related areas. You have sound knowledge of programming with classic development environments and low coding platforms such as Mendix and MS Power APPs. Furthermore, you score with know-how in the analysis and visualization of data using BI tools (e.g. QlikSense or Power BI). You are familiar with the development of optimized data models in the context of data analysis and visualization. Ideally, you have worked with database systems and APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). You impress with open communication from the store floor to management and always keep a cool head even in stressful situations. If you are also fluent in German and English (other languages are an advantage), have already gained intercultural experience and are willing to travel (approx. 50%), this makes you the ideal candidate.
What do we offer you?
 Attractive conditions:
You will be given a competitive compensation package that includes extras like a business pension plan and share programme in addition to the collective bargaining agreement's perks (such overtime and vacation pay).  Mobile working / remote working:
You get the chance to work hybrid with us. This implies that you have a good deal of remote job options. This is formally governed by a firm agreement.
 Inclusion & diversity:
At Siemens Mobility, we are committed to fighting injustice and inequality. With us, you will find an environment in which you can be yourself and belong. An outline of our advantages is available here.
