Job Description:
Within the recently established Retail section, a group of data specialists including data scientists, business intelligence analysts, product data analysts, and analysts of data are assembled into the Retail BI & Analytics team. Within the Retail Tech department, the Product Data Analyst collaborates closely with the product teams, which are organised as Value Streams. In addition to conducting data analysis, A/B testing, and producing the BI reports required to assess product performance and direct the Value Stream's future work, the role also entails aiding the Value Stream in identifying KPIs and developing business cases for the products in that product area.
You will play a major role in enabling the investigation and support of data-driven product development for the checkout products in store physical and self-checkout, as well as mobile checkout solutions, as a product data analyst working towards the Decide & Go Value Stream. You will create business intelligence dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs), run A/B testing, and offer analysis and insights to help your colleagues make data- and insight-driven decisions on strategic paths.
In the role you will:
Be the key figure for your colleagues to comprehend the business implications of our product development.
Provide analytical insights and suggestions to product development in a proactive manner to spur innovation and gain a competitive edge.
Conduct analysis on sizable data sets to derive significant insights that will direct and inform the Value Stream's development activities.
Additionally, assist in the creation and follow-up of business cases for the products that fall under the Value Stream.
Assist the product teams in the Value Stream by establishing KPIs, monitoring performance through reporting, and doing A/B testing.
Convert business needs into analytical requirements, then collaborate with global business stakeholders and geographical areas to develop analytics and reporting solutions that will have the greatest possible impact.
Engage with and exert influence on the H&M analytical community to investigate and open up new data domains in order to unlock even more business potential.

You hold a degree from an academic institution in a quantitative subject, like math/statistics, business, economics, engineering, or finance.
Having worked as a data analyst, product data analyst, data scientist, or in a job comparable to these for at least three years, you have honed your analytical abilities through relevant work experience.
You have prior expertise analysing data using programming languages such as Python or R.
You are proficient with the usage of tools like Power BI and SQL, and you feel comfortable dealing with sizable data sets and constructing intricate queries to extract data.
You've done A/B testing before.
You have excellent communication skills, are at ease explaining complicated analytical techniques to business stakeholders, and feel confident presenting the findings of your research to a variety of audiences.
You are a team player and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues.
