Job Summary:
 For our retail operations, we are seeking to hire a Data Entry / Administrative Coordinator to produce, record, submit, update, and maintain data pertaining to corporate purchases. Our ideal candidate is naturally extremely organized, takes a lot of pride in the quality of their work & has essential data entry skills such as fast typing, an eye for detail & familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and inventory control systems like Retail Pro. Previous experience as a Data Entry Operator &/or an Administrative Coordinator will be necessary for this vacancy as will sharp math/accounting skills. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
 • Enter orders from customers and send them, within the allotted period, to different vendors. 
• Verify correctness by cross-checking documentation, such as order confirmations and proforma invoices, from suppliers, and get in touch with them to correct any errors. 
• Accurately and methodically gather and enter product data into the inventory system (Retail Pro). 
• Use the methods and procedures of the data program. 
• Check the data for inconsistencies and make any necessary corrections.
• Do your homework and, if necessary, gather more information to improve your judgement and accuracy. 
• Create reports, keep track of documents, store finished work in pre-designated areas, and carry out backup tasks. 
• Print files and scan documents as needed. 
• Keep accurate records of important business data. 
• Respect data integrity and security policies and maintain the privacy of information. 
• Respond to information requests and open pertinent files.
• Keep track of the due dates for payments and stick to the timetable set forth by each provider. 
Requirements:
 • Three years or more of solid experience entering data.
 • Prior office clerk or data entry operator experience.
 • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and data applications (such Retail Pro and Excel). 
• Experience with administrative responsibilities. 
• Proficiency with office equipment such as scanners and printers. 
• Accuracy and speed of typing. 
• Outstanding command of proper punctuation, grammar, and spelling. 
• Paying close attention to details.
• Morality. 
• The capacity for organisation and the ability to maintain concentrate on duties as allocated. 
• A degree from an institution.
