Job Description: 
Roles & responsibilities: 
Key responsibilities of the Food & Beverage Supervisor: 
-Supports the smooth running of the food & beverage department, where all aspects of the guest food & beverage service experience are delivered to the highest levels.
-Takes proactive steps to increase visitor comfort and satisfaction by responding to inquiries from visitors in a timely and pleasant manner. 
-Delivers on plans and objectives where food & beverage initiatives & hotel targets are achieved.
-Supervises the food & beverage team, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the department.
-Responsible for making sure that expenses and inventories are kept under control, as well as that performance targets are met. 
-Establishes and preserves productive working relationships with all significant stakeholders. 
-Takes the lead to deliver departmental programs that advance service standards, profitability and cost control.
-Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required. 
Requirements of the Food & Beverage Supervisor: 
-Experience in food & beverage service.
-Excellent managerial and supervisory abilities, a hands-on attitude, and a lead-by-example work style.
-A strong dedication to providing outstanding guest service and a love for the hospitality sector. 
-The capacity to come up with original ideas and demonstrate a track record of addressing problems while providing assistance when needed. 
- Integrity on a personal level combined with the capacity to operate in a setting that requires dedication, effort, and excellence. 
-Working familiarity with a range of IT platforms. 
-Strong communication skills.
