Regarding the position
Do you have a strong desire to satisfy clients in the open-source database industry? Are you excited about the chance to influence the long-term appearance of Percona products?
The inbound and outbound product management activities are within the purview of the MySQL Product Manager. The objective is to increase MySQL adoption and Percona's ongoing financial success as a market leader in MySQL by collaborating closely with technical teams.
Working together with Percona's customers, partners, other product managers, and tech leaders, you will convert the product vision into a road plan and strategy that engineering can realistically execute. To make sure we are providing value to Percona's clients and community, you will strike a balance between time and scope.
What You're Going to Do
. Create a MySQL product strategy that aligns with the company's overarching business and product goals.
. Transform this approach into user-friendly roadmaps to make a product a reality.
. Use customer, community, and stakeholder interactions to identify product and market possibilities. For example, poll current consumers or get in touch with them directly to find out exactly what they want.
. Work together with other product managers to make sure that our tactical strategies are in line with the strategic goal and to promptly provide supplementary product assistance.
. Develop and take responsibility for the connections between Engineering, Services, and the community.
. Investigate fresh approaches to enhancing our current offerings.
Your Actions
. have a thorough grasp of MySQL or other open-source databases and a strong desire to apply that knowledge to enhance Percona's commercial and open-source products.
. Product shipping experience and product management using business IT tools.
. showed a thorough awareness of the demands and commercial difficulties of clients and how they relate to creating goods that satisfy them.
. shown technical expertise in software operations or development.
. expertise in developing and delivering software products and solutions while collaborating with stakeholders from different departments.

. Language proficiency: proficient in English; other languages are valued.
