As we expand, we are looking for a skilled Field Marketing Manager for the APAC area to lead Percona-led events, initiatives, and programs that will generate demand and cultivate enduring connections with customers. Throughout the APAC area, the Field Marketing Manager will be in charge of organizing, carrying out, and overseeing small-scale, highly effective marketing events. This position will concentrate on Percona-led events, including webinars, lunch-and-learns, roundtables, private dining events, and hospitality events.In order to create pipeline, speed up deal closing, and raise brand awareness, the Field Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the sales, demand generation, and customer success teams. You will be in charge of carrying out focused marketing campaigns that appeal to our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and fostering deep connections with both clients and potential clients.
What You'll Do: Organizing and Carrying Out Events:
. Organize, plan, and carry out high-touch, small-scale marketing events including webinars, roundtables, private meals, hospitality events, and lunch-and-learn sessions.
. Oversee all aspects of event planning, including choosing a location, sending out invites, managing vendors, and monitoring and converting leads into sales.
. To guarantee proper attendance from target clients and match event plan with funnel goals, collaborate closely with the sales team.
. Work together with the marketing and product teams to create agendas and pertinent content that appeal to target consumers.
Creating Leads and Accelerating Pipelines:
. Create and implement regional field marketing plans and initiatives to help generate leads, boost pipeline expansion, and meet MQL and SQL goals for the area.
. Utilize our intent platform, 6Sense, to target high-value accounts and important decision-makers in Percona's target verticals using the concepts of account-based marketing (ABM).
. Make sure that every event and regional campaign supports marketing and sales goals and is closely related to company objectives.
Engagement with Customers and Partners:
. Create innovative ways to interact with partners, consumers, and prospects at both live and online events.
. Establish trusting bonds with sales teams to guarantee appropriate follow-up, and work together on post-event initiatives like lead nurturing and sales acceleration.
. Track engagement, lead conversion, pipeline growth, and return on investment for every activity to gauge the success of an event.
Cooperation and Arrangement:
. To match field marketing initiatives with larger campaigns, collaborate cross-functionally with the sales, demand generation, content, public relations, and solutions marketing teams.
. Collaborate with outside suppliers and locations to provide flawless, high-caliber events.
. Report and analyze event performance on a regular basis, taking into account participant comments and the overall success of the program.
Awareness of the Brand and Leadership in Thought:
. Organize and publicize webinars using our On24 webinar platform, seminars, and small-scale networking events to support Percona's thought leadership initiatives.
. Make sure events convey Percona's value proposition for open-source database systems and reinforce the brand story.
Your Experience: 
. Three or more years of event or field marketing experience, ideally in the open-source or tech sector.
. shown ability to organize and carry out events that have a significant influence on top IT decision makers
. experience concentrating on the APAC area while working in a regional marketing capacity.
Competencies & Skills:
. Excellent project management abilities and the capacity to oversee several events at once.
. Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, including the capacity to collaborate effectively with partners, customers, and sales.
. imaginative thinker with a talent for creating captivating event designs that produce outcomes.
. analytical approach with expertise in data-driven reporting and analyzing the effectiveness of field marketing initiatives.
. knowledge of ABM tactics and how field marketing initiatives incorporate them.
Instruments:
. familiarity with sales and marketing tools including Salesforce, On24, Zoom, Foleon, 6Sense, and HubSpot
Additional prerequisites:
. the capacity to travel up to 30% of the time in order to assist in-person activities.
. self-starter who can function autonomously in a remote setting.
