Job Description:
With great excitement, Black & Grey HR announces an exclusive opportunity with a premier waste management firm in the United Arab Emirates. To expand their staff, our client is looking for a creative and capable facility manager. A distinct set of skills is required for this position, combining a strong foundation in facilities management with an acute awareness of business development prospects. The chosen applicant will play a key role in improving facility operations and accelerating company expansion. Facility Management:
- Keep an eye on all facilities' daily operations to make sure they are safe, well-maintained, and adhere to all applicable laws and standards.
- Create and implement rules, methods, and schedules for maintenance in order to maximise productivity and reduce downtime.
- Assist internal teams and outside contractors in carrying out necessary maintenance, repairs, and upgrades.
- Maintain facility spending plans, keep an eye on expenditures, and look for ways to cut costs without sacrificing security or quality.
- Keep thorough records of all actions pertaining to the facility, such as inventory management, maintenance logs, and inspection reports.
Business Development:
- Carry out market research to find new ventures, developing trends, and possible partners or customers.
- Cultivate and preserve relationships with current customers, learning about their needs and seeing chances for cross- or up-selling.
- Use cold calling, networking, and other business development techniques to find and follow up on new company leads.
- Work together to create persuasive presentations, proposals, and marketing materials with the sales and marketing departments.
- Take part in trade exhibits, conferences, and industry events to advertise our business' offerings and broaden our network.
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, facilities management, or a similar discipline.
- Demonstrated facility management experience, including familiarity with building systems, maintenance procedures, and legal requirements
. - Strong business sense coupled with track record in client relationship management, sales, or business development.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities, including the capacity to work well with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Extremely well-organized, with excellent project management abilities and the capacity to prioritise and oversee several projects at once. It is preferred to have knowledge of facilities management software and tools, as well as proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
